9 Meaning of protected tree
In this Act:
protected tree means—
(a)
each of the following trees located on land in built-up urban areas:
(i)
a registered tree;
(ii)
a regulated tree;
(iii)
a tree on public unleased land (a public tree); and
(b)
a registered tree or a remnant tree located on land in—
(i)
a future urban area; or
(ii)
an area that is the subject of a subdivision design application.
