50 Prescribed people who received prior treatment
(1)
This section applies if, before the commencement day, a prescribed person has received medical treatment in relation to their variation in sex characteristics.
(2)
Section 10 and part 4 do not apply in relation to the undertaking of restricted medical treatment on the prescribed person for 12 months after the commencement day.
(3)
For this section, medical treatment—
(a)
includes a surgical or medical procedure or treatment (including the prescription or administration of a drug); and
(b)
need not be restricted medical treatment.
