Meaning of prescribed person

In force

In this Act:

prescribed person, in relation to restricted medical treatment, means a person who—

(a)

has a variation in sex characteristics; and

(b)

either—

(i)

is an adult subject to a guardianship order that applies to the medical treatment; or

(ii)

is a child who does not have decision-making capacity in relation to the medical treatment.
