Veterinary Practice Act 2018

A person’s registration as a veterinary practitioner—

in the case of registration under section 19—

commences—

on the day the board issues the registration document; or

on the date stated in the registration document; and

continues in force for the period of up to 12 months stated in the registration document unless the registration is suspended or cancelled before the end of that period; and

in the case of registration under section 24 or section 25—

commences on the day after the day the registration that it renews ended; and

continues in force for a period of 12 months unless the registration is suspended or cancelled before the end of that period.
