96 Consultation about appointment to board
(1)
Before appointing someone, other than a community representative, to the board the Minister must consult the board.
(2)
The Minister must also seek advice, and nominations, from declared professional bodies and any other entities the Minister considers suitable to give advice, and make nominations, in relation to the board.

academic institutions
industry representatives
(3)
Subsection (1) does not apply if the board is suspended.
(4)
The Minister may declare an entity to be a professional body for subsection (2).
(5)
A declaration is a disallowable instrument.
