100 Giving individual contact details for approved care navigator service

(1)

This section applies if a health practitioner or relevant health service provider refuses to do a thing mentioned in section 99 in relation to an individual.

(2)

Within 2 business days after the day the health practitioner or health service provider refuses to do the thing, they must give the individual, in writing, the contact details for the approved care navigator service.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

(3)

An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.

(4)

In this section:

health service provider—see the Health Act 1993, section 7.

relevant health service provider means a health service provider prescribed by regulation.
