48 Coordinating practitioner functions do not transfer on transfer of administering practitioner functions

(1)

This section applies if—

(a)

the functions of an individual’s administering practitioner (the original practitioner) are transferred to another health practitioner under section 46 or section 47; and

(b)

the original practitioner is the individual’s coordinating practitioner when the administering practitioner functions are transferred.

(2)

The original practitioner remains the coordinating practitioner for the individual.

Note The functions of a coordinating practitioner may be transferred under s 37 or s 38.
