25 Certificate of compliance
(1)
The owner of premises may apply, in writing, to the construction occupations registrar for a certificate of compliance for plumbing or sanitary drainage work.
(2)
The construction occupations registrar must issue a certificate of compliance if satisfied that the plumbing or sanitary drainage work complies with this regulation.
(3)
A person must not use plumbing or sanitary drainage work unless a certificate of compliance has been issued for the work.
Maximum penalty (subsection (3)): 10 penalty units.
