77B Offences—do bore work without licence
A person commits an offence if the person—
does bore work; and
does not hold a driller’s licence to do the bore work.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
Note Driller’s licence means a licence under s 35.
A person who is the owner or occupier of land commits an offence if—
bore work is done on the land; and
the person does not have a bore work licence for the bore work.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
A person who is the holder of a driller’s licence commits an offence if—
the person does bore work on land; and
the owner or occupier of the land does not have a bore work licence for the bore work.
Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
Note Bore work licence means a licence under s 39.
Subsections (2) and (3) do not apply to bore work that is exempt from the requirement for a bore work licence under a regulation.
