198 Information to be obtained and provided by supplier
A supplier of plant must—
(a)
take all reasonable steps to obtain the information required to be provided by the manufacturer under the Act, section 23 (4) (a) and (c) (Duties of persons conducting businesses or undertakings that manufacture plant, substances or structures) and this regulation; and
(b)
ensure that, when the plant is supplied, the person to whom the plant is supplied is given the information obtained by the supplier under paragraph (a).
Maximum penalty: tier G monetary penalty.
Note Strict liability applies to each physical element of each offence under this regulation, unless otherwise stated (see s 6A).
