244 Altered plant designs to be registered—Act, s 42
If the design of an item of plant stated in schedule 5, part 5.1 (Plant requiring registration of design) that is registered under this part is altered, the altered design must be registered under this part.

In this section, a reference to the alteration of a design is a reference to an alteration that may affect health or safety.
This section does not apply in relation to a tower crane or a gantry crane if—
the crane is relocated for use in a different workplace; and
the design of the supporting structure or foundations of the crane is altered in accordance with a site-specific design prepared for the purpose of the safe operation of the crane at the new location; and
the design of the crane is not altered in any other way.
