181 References to person who recovers damage etc
(1)
If damages are recovered by a person on someone else’s behalf, a reference in this chapter to a person who recovers damages is a reference to the person on whose behalf damages are recovered.
(2)
If compensation is paid or payable to a person for the benefit of someone else, a reference in this part to a person to whom compensation is paid or payable is a reference to the person for whose benefit the compensation is paid or payable.
