Excessive wear caused by chafing has been found on the aileron push pull tube. This may lead to uneven control wheel movement, and if unchecked result in perforation of the control tube.
Amendment 1 extends the repeat inspection periodicity to 800 hours time in service to align with the "C" check.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 7 June 1995.
