Requirement Requirement
1. Install Ice Detector System in accordance with the requirements of MU-2 Service Bulletin No 080/30-003A or No 217A as applicable.
2. Until Compliance with Requirement 1, a placard is to be installed in clear view of the pilot stating:
“FLIGHT INTO KNOWN OR FORECAST ICING CONDITIONS IS PROHIBITED” and
Insert a “P” amendment to the Limitations Section of the Flight Manual. This amendment is available from District Airworthiness Offices.
