Due to recurring tip failures, Sensenich issued SB No 3, dated November 1956, requiring M76AM-2 or 76AM6-2 propellers to be retired from service. This was advised via AD/PA-20/6 but due to a recurrence of this combination on other aircraft types it has now been extended to all installations involving this engine and propeller combination.
