Background Background
This directive was originally issued in July 1995 to require a modification of the oil cooler installation. The modification addressed reports of a possible oil leak developing if interference existed between the oil cooler core and the oil cooler outlet protective screen. This amendment reflects the manufacturer's revision to the requirement document. The revision, in part, clarifies the aircraft applicable and that the protective screen is to be removed permanently.
The original issue of this Airworthiness Directive became effective on 22 June 1995.
