285A Fees and contributions payable for delivery of funded aged care services to individuals in prescribed classes
A registered provider delivering ongoing funded aged care services through the service group residential care to an individual in a class of individuals referred to in section 275A may charge the individual one or more amounts prescribed by the rules for a day for that class for or in connection with those services.
The individual must not be required to pay an amount for a day more than 1 month in advance of the day.
If the individual dies or stops accessing funded aged care services, any amounts paid in advance for a day occurring after the individual dies or stops accessing those services must be refunded in accordance with the rules.
A registered provider must comply with any other requirements prescribed by the rules in relation to an amount that an individual may be charged under this section.
