303 When refundable deposits can be paid
Subject to paragraph 294(1)(ca), an individual may pay a refundable deposit at any time on or after the individual’s start day.
At any time after an individual has paid a refundable deposit in relation to the delivery of ongoing funded aged care services to the individual through the service group residential care in an approved residential care home, the individual may top up the refundable deposit up to:
if the refundable deposit is a refundable accommodation deposit—an amount equal to the agreed accommodation payment amount for the individual and the home, minus any retention amounts that have been deducted under section 308; or
if the refundable deposit is a refundable accommodation contribution—the amount of accommodation contribution that is payable.
