533 Protection from liability for authorised officers and persons assisting
An authorised officer is not liable to civil proceedings for loss, damage or injury of any kind suffered by another person as a result of anything done, or omitted to be done, by the officer in good faith in the exercise or purported exercise of any power under this Chapter or the Regulatory Powers Act as it applies under this Chapter.
A person assisting an authorised officer in the exercise or purported exercise of any power under this Chapter, or the Regulatory Powers Act as it applies under this Chapter, is not liable to civil proceedings for loss, damage or injury of any kind suffered by another person as a result of anything done, or omitted to be done, in good faith for the purpose of assisting the officer.
