599 Annual report on the operation of the Act
The System Governor must give the Minister, for presentation to each House of the Parliament, a report on the performance of the System Governor’s functions during each financial year.
Without limiting subsection (1), the report must include information about the following matters:
the extent of unmet demand for funded aged care services;
the extent of funded aged care services accessed by individuals from different locations and with different backgrounds and life experience;
the duration of waiting periods for funded aged care services;
the number of registered providers entering and exiting the market for the delivery of funded aged care services;
the financial viability of registered providers in that market;
usage of the bond guarantee scheme;
the amounts of contributions paid;
the amounts of those contributions paid as refundable deposits;
the extent of building, upgrading and refurbishment of residential care homes.
