(b)

within such further time as the APVMA allows under subsection (3).

(2)

A person given a substantiation notice under section 69EN may apply to the APVMA for further time to comply with the notice. An application must be in writing and made within 21 days after the notice is given to the person.

(3)

The APVMA may, by written notice given to the person, extend the period within which the person must comply with the notice.

(4)

Despite subsection (1), an individual may refuse or fail to give particular information or produce a particular document in compliance with a substantiation notice on the ground that the information, or production of the document, might tend to incriminate the individual or to expose the individual to a penalty.
