228 Incorrect records

(1)

A person must not, in purported compliance with a requirement covered by paragraph 60(1)(a), subsection 146(1) or paragraph 156(1)(a), make a record of any matter or thing in such a way that it does not correctly record the matter or thing.

(2)

A person commits an offence if:

(a)

the person is subject to a requirement under subsection (1); and

(b)

the person engages in conduct; and

(c)

the person’s conduct contravenes the requirement.

Penalty: Imprisonment for 6 months.

(3)

Strict liability applies to paragraph (2)(a).
