37 Conditions in respect of proper care of records

(1)

The Director‑General may, for the purpose of ensuring the safe custody and proper preservation of any record, determine reasonable conditions to which access to the record is to be subject, or determine that the record is to be withheld from public access.

(2)

Where a record is withheld in accordance with subsection (1), a copy shall be provided where, in the opinion of the Director‑General, it is practicable to do so without detriment to the proper preservation or safe custody of the record.
