Certified copies of records

(1)

The Director‑General may give a certificate that a record referred to in the certificate is a true copy of a record that is in the care of the Archives and such a certificate is prima facie evidence in all courts of the matters stated in the certificate.

(2)

A writing purporting to be a certificate given under this section shall, unless the contrary is proved, be deemed to be such a certificate and to have been duly given.
