55 Application of this Act to the Australian National University
(1)
This Act applies in relation to the Australian National University (the ANU) as if it were a State/Territory entity covered by paragraph 7(e) (which covers universities established under a law of a State or Territory).
(2)
However, if the ANU is the only State/Territory entity that is a party, or proposed party, to a foreign arrangement, then section 51 does not apply when the Minister is making a decision to make a declaration in relation to:
(a)
the foreign arrangement; or
(b)
a subsidiary arrangement of the foreign arrangement.
