25 Appointment

(1)

The CEO is to be appointed by the Board by written instrument after consultation with the Minister.

Note:

The CEO is eligible for reappointment: see section 33AA of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.

(2)

The CEO holds office on a full‑time basis.

(3)

The CEO holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 3 years.

(4)

The CEO must not be a member of the Board.
