13 Continuous full‑time Reservists whose undertakings span 30 June 2016
For the purposes of paragraph 12(4)(a), if:
(a)
a person is an eligible member of the Defence Force (within the meaning of the Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits Act 1973); and
(b)
the person becomes a continuous full‑time Reservist as a result of an undertaking that is accepted under subsection 26(2) of the Defence Act 1903 before 1 July 2016; and
(c)
the period of the undertaking is extended on or after that day;
then, in relation to service on or after that day, the person is taken to have become a continuous full‑time Reservist on the day that period is extended.
