35L Functions of Commission relating to systemic discrimination

(1)

The following functions are conferred on the Commission:

(a)

to inquire into any matter that may relate to systemic unlawful discrimination or suspected systemic unlawful discrimination;

(b)

to do anything incidental or conducive to the performance of any of the preceding functions.

(2)

In this Act:

systemic unlawful discrimination means unlawful discrimination that:

(a)

affects a class or group of persons; and

(b)

is continuous, repetitive or forms a pattern.
