88 Appointment of advisory board members etc

(1)

Each advisory board member is to be appointed by the Minister by written instrument.

(2)

An advisory board member holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 5 years.

Note:

A board member is eligible for reappointment: see the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.

(3)

An advisory board member holds office on a part‑time basis.

(4)

The Minister must ensure that the members of the AIP advisory board collectively possess experience or knowledge in all of the following fields:

(a)

economics;

(b)

industry;

(c)

project management;

(d)

procurement of goods or services.
