44 Delegation by Board

(1)

The Board may, by resolution, delegate to a member of the Board or to an officer or employee, either generally or as otherwise provided by the resolution, all or any of the powers of the Board under this Act other than this power of delegation.

(2)

A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Board.

(3)

A delegate is, in the exercise of a power so delegated, subject to the directions of the Board.

(4)

A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power by the Board.
