59 Ministerial approval of rules
(1)
After receiving rules under section 58, or revised rules under this section, from the Board, the Minister must, in writing:
(a)
approve the rules; or
(b)
request the Board to give the Minister revised rules to take account of specified concerns of the Minister.
(2)
If the Minister makes such a request, the Board must comply with the request as soon as reasonably practicable.
Approved rules are legislative instruments
(3)
Rules (including revised rules) prepared by the Board and approved by the Minister are a legislative instrument made by the Minister on the day on which the rules are approved.
