20 Consideration of applications
As soon as practicable after receiving an application, the Takeovers Panel must:
(a)
decide whether to conduct proceedings in relation to the application; and
(b)
if the Takeovers Panel decides to conduct proceedings—prepare a brief setting out:
(i)
a general description of the matters to be examined in the Takeovers Panel proceedings; and
(ii)
the issues to be addressed in submissions for the proceedings.
