8 Act not to apply to state aircraft etc
Unless the contrary intention appears, this Act does not apply to, or in relation to:
a state aircraft; or
an aircraft that is leased to or chartered by, or is otherwise under the operational control of, the Australian Defence Force.
A reference in this Act to an aviation industry participant does not include a reference to:
the Australian Defence Force; or
the Australian Federal Police; or
the Australian Protective Service; or
the police force of a State or Territory; or
an Agency of the Commonwealth prescribed in the regulations.
This provision refers to the regulations (prescribed in the regulations
