66 Information to be given to Official Receiver in relation to certain sequestration orders
If the Court makes a sequestration order under subsection 221(1), 222(10) or 222C(5) of the Act, the applicant for the order must:
give a copy of the order to the Official Receiver; and
do so within 2 business days after the order is made.
Official Trustee and Inspector‑General not required to give copies
However, subsection (1) does not apply if the applicant is the Official Trustee or the Inspector‑General.
Offence
A person commits an offence if:
the person is required to give a copy of an order to the Official Receiver in accordance with subsection (1); and
the person fails to comply with the requirement.
Penalty: 1 penalty unit.
An offence against subsection (3) is an offence of strict liability.
