Biological Control Act 1984

This Act shall be read and construed as being in addition to, and not in derogation of or in substitution for:

any other law of the Commonwealth, whether passed or made before or after the commencement of this Act; or

if this Act extends to an external Territory, any law of that Territory, whether passed or made before or after the commencement of this Act.

Without limiting the generality of subsection (1), this Act shall not be read or construed as authorizing or permitting the doing of any act in contravention of:

the Biosecurity Act 2015; or

Part 13A of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
