360 Powers that may be exercised—general
If a biosecurity control order is in force under section 353 in relation to goods or premises and a disease or pest, any of the following powers may be exercised in relation to the goods or premises for the purpose of managing the biosecurity risk posed by the disease or pest:
a power specified in the order under paragraph 354(2)(d), (e) or (f);
a power set out in Division 4 of Part 3.
This Chapter does not apply in relation to certain goods or conveyances (see section 312).
Premises include a conveyance (see paragraph (a) of the definition of premises in section 9).
See section 310 in relation to the meaning of biosecurity risk in this Chapter.
Before exercising a power specified in a biosecurity control order, a biosecurity official must be satisfied of the matters referred to in section 32 (the principles).
A biosecurity officer or biosecurity enforcement officer may be assisted by other persons in exercising powers in accordance with this section (see section 536).
