449 Person must comply with emergency requirements and directions
A person must comply with a requirement determined under section 445 that applies to the person.
A person must comply with a direction given under section 446 that applies to the person.
Fault‑based offences
A person commits an offence if:
a requirement determined under subsection 445(1) applies to the person; and
the person engages in conduct; and
the conduct contravenes the requirement.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years or 300 penalty units, or both.
A person commits an offence if:
a direction given under subsection 446(1) applies to the person; and
the person engages in conduct; and
the conduct contravenes the direction.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years or 300 penalty units, or both.
Civil penalty provision
A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection (1) or (2).
Civil penalty: 120 penalty units.
