551 Functions and powers of biosecurity enforcement officers
(1)
A biosecurity enforcement officer:
(a)
has the functions and powers conferred on a biosecurity enforcement officer by this Act or another law of the Commonwealth; and
(b)
may perform the functions and exercise the powers conferred on a biosecurity officer by this Act.
(2)
Subsection (1) has effect subject to any restrictions specified in the biosecurity enforcement officer’s instrument of authorisation.
(3)
In performing functions or exercising powers under this Act, a biosecurity enforcement officer must comply with any directions of the Director of Biosecurity.
