14 Child Care Standards Committee
(1)
The Minister may establish a committee, to be known as the Child Care Standards Committee, which shall consist of such number of members as the Minister thinks fit.
(2)
The functions of the Committee are:
(a)
to give advice to the Minister and to the operators of eligible child care centres in relation to standards to be maintained in the construction and equipment of those centres and in the service provided in them; and
(b)
to give advice to the Minister on any other matter referred to the Committee by the Minister in connexion with the administration of this Act.
