Climate Change Authority Act 2011

The regulations may prescribe the procedures to be followed at or in relation to meetings of the Board, including matters relating to the following:

the convening of meetings of the Board;

the number of Board members who are to constitute a quorum;

the selection of a Board member to preside at meetings of the Board in the absence of the Chair of the Board;

the manner in which questions arising at a meeting of the Board are to be decided.

A resolution is taken to have been passed at a meeting of the Board if:

without meeting, a majority of Board members indicate agreement with the resolution in accordance with the method determined by the Board under subsection (3); and

all Board members were informed of the proposed resolution, or reasonable efforts had been made to inform all Board members of the proposed resolution.

Subsection (2) applies only if the Board:

determines that it applies; and

determines the method by which Board members are to indicate agreement with resolutions.
