31 Offence for contravening a Commonwealth workplace protection order
Offence
(1)
A person commits an offence if:
(a)
a Commonwealth workplace protection order is in force against the person; and
(b)
the person engages in conduct; and
(c)
the conduct contravenes a condition of the order.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years or 120 penalty units, or both.
(2)
Strict liability applies to paragraph (1)(a).
Geographical jurisdiction
(3)
Section 15.3 of the Criminal Code (extended geographical jurisdiction—category C) applies to an offence against subsection (1).
