This Part does not apply to law enforcement activity etc

In force

This Part does not apply in relation to anything lawfully done for the purposes of law enforcement or national security by or on behalf of:

(a)

the Commonwealth or a State or Territory; or

(b)

an authority of the Commonwealth or of a State or Territory.

Note:

A defendant in proceedings for an offence against this Part bears an evidential burden in relation to the matter in this section (see subsection 13.3(3) of the Criminal Code).
