110.6 Application for declaration
The following may apply to the AFP Minister for a declaration under subsection 110.5(1) in relation to a state sponsor of terrorism:
the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security;
the foreign country to which the state sponsor of terrorism belongs.
The application must:
be in writing; and
be made on the grounds that there is a basis for the AFP Minister to be satisfied that it is not appropriate for the state sponsor of terrorism to continue to be specified by regulations made for the purposes of the definition of state sponsor of terrorism in subsection 110.3(1).
