Currency (Perth Mint) Determination 2006 (No. 3)

This Determination is the Currency (Perth Mint) Determination 2006 (No. 3).

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

In this Determination:

Act means the Currency Act 1965.

For subsection 13A (1) of the Act, item 1 in Schedule 1 specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in the item:

the coin's standard weight, and the allowable variation from that weight; and

the coin's dimensions; and

the coin's design.

The specification in Schedule 1 does not affect any other determination of the specification of a coin.

Reverse design A design consisting of:

a stylised border diminishing towards the top of the coin, immediately inside the rim; and

a representation of 2 SAS men in a combat situation; and

a segment with a sunset background and a coloured skyline of trees; and

a representation of 3 SAS men descending on ropes from a helicopter; and

a segment containing a camouflage pattern design; and

the inscriptions:

'AUSTRALIAN'; and

'SAS'; and

'1957 - 2007'; and

a coloured representation of the winged dagger badge with the inscription 'WHO DARES WINS'.
