28 Maternity leave starting before conversion time
(1)
This section applies in relation to a transferring employee if:
(a)
immediately before the conversion time, the employee was a female employee of ADC or DRDC who was on leave granted under the Maternity Leave Act; and
(b)
the employee would have been entitled to have remained on that leave after the conversion time if the employee had continued to be an employee of ADC or DRDC.
(2)
After the conversion time, the Maternity Leave Act continues to apply to the employee in relation to the confinement in respect of which the leave was granted as if Dairy Australia Limited were a prescribed authority for the purposes of that Act.
