12 Leave of absence and resignation
(1)
The Minister may grant leave of absence to a member upon such terms and conditions as to remuneration or otherwise as the Minister determines.
(2)
A member may resign his or her office by writing under his or her hand addressed to the Governor‑General, but the resignation is not effective unless and until it has been accepted by the Governor‑General.
