28 When voucher is not required to be issued—person dies
Despite section 27, if:
(a)
a person qualifies for a voucher for a calendar year; and
(b)
the person dies before the Chief Executive Medicare issues the voucher for the calendar year in respect of the person;
the Chief Executive Medicare is not required to issue the voucher.
