22 A design application may be in respect of more than one design
A single design application may be in respect of:
one design in relation to one product; or
one design that is a common design in relation to more than one product; or
more than one design in relation to one product; or
more than one design in relation to more than one product, if each product belongs to the same Locarno Agreement class.
If more than one design is disclosed in a design application, the entitled person or persons must be the same in relation to each design.
This means that a separate application must be made in respect of designs with a different entitled person or persons.
To avoid doubt, a design that is a common design in relation to more than one product is a design in relation to each product.
