126 Protection from civil actions
Subsection (1) applies in relation to any of the following persons:
the Commission;
the Commissioner or another member of the Commission;
a person acting under the direction or authority of:
the Commission; or
the Commissioner or another member of the Commission;
a person acting under a delegation under section 121.
The person is not liable to an action or other proceeding for damages for or in relation to an act done, or omitted to be done, in good faith in the performance, or purported performance, of any function, or in the exercise or purported exercise of any power or authority, conferred on the Commission, the Commissioner or the other member of the Commission.
If a submission has been made, a document or information has been given, or evidence has been given, to the Commission or the Commissioner, a person is not liable to an action, suit or other proceeding in respect of loss, damage or injury of any kind suffered by another person because only that submission was made, the document or information was given or the evidence was given.
