514YF Varying and revoking national environmental standard
The Minister may, by legislative instrument, vary or revoke a national environmental standard.

the standard as varied, or the revocation, promotes the objects of this Act; and
the standard as varied, or the revocation, is not inconsistent with Australia’s obligations under the international agreements specified in subsection 520(3).
The Minister may have regard to any other matter the Minister considers relevant in deciding whether to vary or revoke a national environmental standard.
